If your manager is a girl, she needs some also. If your manager is a guy, he wants some also. Either way, you offered, you may need to pay up. You're kidding, right? You are so naughty...

it's possible that your boss got the wrong impression of what you were doing. perhaps he thought you were making a pass at this woman i don't know how you seem to have said nothing wrong. i guess he must have overheard something wrong. i would talk things over with him and see if it is possible to get your job back. if you want to. i would explain the situation to him and ask him why you were fired in the first place ten to one this is just a very large misunderstanding that you hopefully will be able to work out. if you boss isn't willing to listen to you your probably better off working for someone who will see you for who you are and listen to you. the way i see it wood, i believe, is more extensive then carpet most likely your boss could have made more money off the wood being put down then the carpet maybe he should have been listening to you better. good luck unless you truly meant to be a sick perve then you deserve to get fired.

The manager wanted to wax your wood, and didn't want to fraternize with employees.

Something is missing here. Depends on how you said it and the tone you used. Nonetheless...if you gave her the choices and suggested she tried and think about putting wood flooring or laminated ...that's nothing wrong. Anyway, you got fired ...I am sorry for that. First examine the circumstances (be honest with yourself) ...if you did nothing wrong...complain to your union, if you don't have a union...you can file a grievance with EDD /labor department ...or get an attorney to appeal the firing or sue the company/your ex-boss. First find out what was the exact cause of the firing ...did the customer complain about you? ...what was the complain about ? ...Find the facts first then act accordingly. Probably there is a misunderstanding here. That's unfair. I'd rather err on your side and give you the benefit of doubt.

Wow, I'm kind of torn about this one. A. You were initially trying to hit on the client by wording the conversation like that. B. You were being serious and litterly wanted to lay some wood down as apart of the flooring. As far as business ethics go, It's hard to say If your supervisor made the correct call or not. She probably felt that she did..I wouldn't take it to heart.

A:
It is your job to sell carpets not go over to her house and lay the flooring. That is not part of your job. Your manager has labor people who does the installation of the carpets and floors. go find yourself another job,
