Career Questions and Answers
What jobs can you get without a college education?
Asked by SaintsFan
My boyfriend has a learning disability and most likely won't get into college. There are a few colleges that may accept him, but there's no way his family can afford it.
Should he be unable to go to college, what are his other career options?

It's certainly not the job market it used to be...but at high-tech jobs you can still work your way up, acquire skills on the job or on your own, and make a pretty good living. In my experience, software engineers tend to be college-educated; network and database administrators are easier jobs to get if you're self-trained or went through a certificate program. (Community colleges, among others, offer certificates.)
